ITI Energy has a highly experienced Board of Directors and Advisory Team together with a highly skilled technical team to support all our activities. The key personnel are as follows:-

Stephen Walls - Chairman

MD- Plessey, CH & CEO - Arjo Wiggins, Albert Fisher, Founder - Compass Partners

For the last several years Stephen has been involved in private equity and been responsible for the successful start up or funding for the acquisition of a number of businesses in financial services, business services and leisure. He remains as Chairman and investor in a number of these companies. Prior to that he has been CFO, CEO or Chairman of a number of large global listed companies including Cheeseborough Ponds, Plessey, Arjo Wiggins, and Albert Fisher. He has served on the Boards of a number of other public companies including Lonrho, Servisair, Hoskyns and Securum. As a Chartered Accountant he was also a founder member of the Financial Reporting Council with the Bank of England.

Tony Fordham - Managing Director/CEO

Tony is an experienced MD/CEO, with strong sales and marketing abilities and a proven engineering background in capital equipment. He has considerable experience in starting up and developing new businesses and growing existing market share through re-focussing and strategic planning. His skills include "Spinning out Businesses" from Universities. In addition he has significant international experience in the capital goods sector, working for companies such as USM Corp, Barber Colman, Siebe Corp, and Mannesmann.

Miles Lewis - Non Executive Director

Miles is an experienced investor and advisor who has specialised in developing technology and intellectual property companies for the last 12 years. Previously head of Derivative Sales at Credit Lyonnais, Miles then headed Compass Investment Management's technology focus, until becoming a Director of corporate advisors Strand Partners in 2005. Miles has advised and invested in a range of renewable companies, including Solar, Autoclaving, Wind Turbine Manufacturing, Biofuels and micro CHP.

Prof Galip Akay - Head of Research

Professor Akay is the inventor of the ITI gasifier. He is Head of the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials at Newcastle University. He received the IChemE gold medal in 1996 for the development of process intensification and miniaturisation in separation processes. His current research involves Process Intensification, Bioprocess Intensification, Intensification of energy conversion process (such as gasification, gas clean-up) intensification of gas to liquid technologies, oil/water separations and preparation/ applications of micro-porous polymers and metallic structures. He has some 40 patents and over 200 cited publications.

Patrick Teroerde - Non Executive Director

Executive Director of Adurion Capital. Patrick served with Strategic Value Partners, a distressed hedge fund, with Rhone Capital, a leveraged buyout fund and with Fonds Partenaires, Lazard's in-house private equity fund. Earlier in his career, Patrick served with Lazard's M&A advisory group. Patrick has been based in Frankfurt, London and Paris and speaks German, English and French.

Jürg Gassmann - Non Executive Director

Non-Executive Director of Adurion Capital. Jürg advises on deal structuring, negotiation and documentation for Adurion's corporate and financial investments. Prior to his current role, Jürg worked with the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as Counsel in the London Project Finance Group, and before that with the infrastructure engineering and construction company Black & Veatch. He has advised on infrastructure development projects and structured finance transactions in various sectors, principally in Europe and Asia. Jürg has also worked with Equipment Finance & Leasing on private equity deals and with Sumitomo Trust and Banking in Tokyo, advising on air finance and capital market transactions. He is qualified to practice in Switzerland and is an English solicitor and speaks German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese and some Urdu.

Tim Yeo MP - Non Executive Director

is a Conservative Member of Parliament and Chairman of the All Parties Environmental Audit Committee. He is Non Executive Chairman of fuel cell company AFC Energy, Chairman of Univent PLC and a Director of Eurotunnel.

Will Power - Technical Manager

Previously with Ansaldo Energia, Tilsley and Lovatt Ltd, Rolls-Royce and Ingersoll Rand. Over twenty years successful experience in gas & diesel engines, steam turbines, gas turbines, combined cycle plants, gasifier technology and combine heat power plants. Will heads up the company's technical team.

Peter Flanagan - Project Manager

Previously with British Coal, Amalgamated Construction Co. Ltd, Commpro/TCI and ntl Telewest. A Chartered Engineer with project management expertise within engineering and technology sectors. Peter heads up the company's project team.

Hilary Stone - Advisor

Hilary Stone, originaly a lawyer in private practice specialising in environmental law with particluar reference to waste and planning issues,, is now an Honorary Reseach Fellow at Imperial College, London. There the focus of her attention is energy from waste, including the underpinning legislation and planning and permitting matters. She has considerable experience in dealing with government, local planning authorities and the Environment Agency. Stone is a retained Consultant to the World Bank and serves on DEFRA ACHS and the UKCSF.

David Fenn - Advisor

Former MD Morecroft Engineers Limited-Experienced in manufacturer and welding of Stainless Steel vessels. David works with the company's sub-contractors on the manufacturing of the patented reactors.

Tony Caplin - Advisor

Turnaround expert and a director of numerous public and private organisations: NECH - Panmure Gordon plc, Ant Technology Limited NECH, CH - Angelbourse, Ealing Hospital NHS Trust, NED - Easynet Group plc, Northamber plc, Alternative Network Limited.
