14.03.2013 - Nottingham Project
Having finalised its technology development, ITI has
spent the last years negotiating and constructing its first project and
building a substantial pipeline of projects and partnerships in the UK,
including developing innovative project funding arrangements. The first project
is under construction in Nottingham for a Project Developer and is being built
in 2 phases, phase one is a single Gasifier with engine to generate 1.7 MWe/hr
Nett to the grid and processes 12,000 tones of RDF. Phase two will expand the project through the
adding of a further 5 Gasifiers and engines which will then enable the project
to generate 11.4 MWe/hr Nett to the grid processing around 72,000 tonnes per
annum of RDF in addition the full system will produce around 10 MWth for use as
process heat for external applications and opportunities. This project is already fully funded by the
Developer.
